SCHEDULE OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES<\/strong><br \/>\nAcademic activities may take place between 8 AM and 5 PM, with specific schedules varying by educational cycle and finalized before the academic year begins.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. ENGLISH<\/strong><br \/>\nFrom Preschool to Year 2, our students learn through a bilingual approach. Starting from the 2nd Cycle (Year 5), students have the opportunity to attend Cambridge exam preparation classes (as an extracurricular activity).<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. TECHNOLOGY<\/strong><br \/>\nAll students from Year 1 to Year 9 have TIC (Information and Communication Technology) in their curriculum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. CATHOLIC MORAL AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (E.M.R.C.)<\/strong><br \/>\nA disciplina de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Moral e Religiosa Cat\u00f3lica no 2.\u00ba e 3.\u00ba ciclos, dando-se destaque \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o para os valores e respeitando-se a diversidade cultural e religiosa de todos os alunos e fam\u00edlias.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (OPTIONAL)<\/strong> <strong>(facultativas)<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Ballet<br \/>\n\u2022 Basketball<br \/>\n\u2022 English \u2013 Cambridge Preparation<br \/>\n\u2022 Piano<br \/>\n\u2022 Pop Dance<br \/>\n\u2022 Surfing\/Sailing (School Sports)<br \/>\n\u2022 Taekwondo<br \/>\n\u2022 Teatro Musical<br \/>\n\u2022 The Inventors<br \/>\nNOTA: estas atividades t\u00eam nove presta\u00e7\u00f5es, de outubro a junho.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. MEETINGS WITH GUARDIANS<\/strong><br \/>\nClassroom Teachers (1st Cycle) and Homeroom Teachers (2nd and 3rd Cycles) have a weekly schedule for meetings with guardians, established at the start of the academic year. Guardians may also request additional meetings as needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. RESPONSIBILITIES OF GUARDIANS<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 To know the School\u2019s Educational Project and support its implementation;<br \/>\n\u2022 To adhere to the School\u2019s Internal Regulations and encourage their children to do the same;<br \/>\n\u2022 To inform our staff in writing if someone other than the guardian will pick up their child from the School.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. LEAVING THE SCHOOL PREMISES<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents are not permitted to leave the School during breaks between classes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. ATTENDANCE AND PAYMENT TERMS<\/strong><br \/>\nThe annual tuition fee, as set for each educational level, is due for the school year.<br \/>\nPayment can be made in full or in monthly installments, due on the 8th of each month. Late payments will incur penalties as per the Internal Regulations.<br \/>\nTuition fees are divided into ten equal installments (September to June), except for Preschool, which is divided into eleven installments (September to July), with the last installment distributed over the first three months of the year. Preschool students opting for July \"Tempos Livres\" (Free Time) will incur an additional fee.<br \/>\nIf public authorities impose suspensions of in-person activities, curriculum reductions, or other changes to the educational service after enrollment\/re-enrollment, guardians are not entitled to request a reduction in tuition fees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. MEAL AND TRANSPORT SERVICES<\/strong><br \/>\nThese services are billed monthly from September to June (and July for Preschool students).<\/p>\n<p><strong>11. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION OF SERVICES<\/strong><br \/>\nChanges or cancellations must be requested in writing at our staff 15 days before the start of the following month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>12. EXTENDED HOURS<\/strong><br \/>\nA fee will be charged for extended hours if students remain at the School 30 minutes after academic or extracurricular activities end.<\/p>\n<p><strong>13. SCHOOL INSURANCE<\/strong><br \/>\nSchool insurance is billed at the beginning of the academic year, with the amount set annually.<\/p>\n<p><strong>14. ENROLLMENT<\/strong><br \/>\nNo refunds will be issued for withdrawn enrollments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>15.
